The Journey of Self-Discovery in Your 20’s

How can we deal with our insecurities after receiving negativity from other people? How can we find our purpose these days? On this episode, Joyce Pring had such an amazing conversation with Bianca Gonzalez-Intal where she vulnerably share her story from the time she was starting her career, to now that she’s one of the most sought-after hosts, and how she balances everything as a mom and a wife.

“… it’s such an amazing thing to have friends and family that believe in you so much so that it became kind of like a protective shield even if you go negativity in the outside world…”

Dealing with Insecurities

○ It comes with a territory. Putting yourself out in public – people will either like it or not.

○ Being confident in your own skin. Accept yourself as it is.

○ It’s normal to have your days. It’s a constant battle on trying to me more comfortable in your skin and being not mentally tough everyday is okay.

It’s not like you’re confident today and you’re confident for the rest of your life.
— Bianca Gonzalez-Intal

Self-Discovery

○ Every relationship, you learn something more about yourself. It plays a big part of who you become.

○ There is so much ease in your late 20’s. This is when you will feel like you have a better grasp on putting in who you really are.

○ Do it day by day. Have your baby steps crawl your way out.

Finding Your Purpose Amidst Everything

“Para kanino ka bumabangon?” –  this ad was something so deep. You know your why, why you do things as you grow older. The best thing is to not pressure yourself on figuring out that purpose right away. It could hit you, it wasn’t a walk in a park. It really takes that journey so don’t be too hard on yourself because it really does take time. (BG)

○ Don’t Rush Yourself

○ It’s Not Head-Led, It’s Soul-Led.

○ It’s NOT a Linear Journey.

○ Take the Time to Figure Things Out.

○ Your Purpose is A Journey and not a Confined Path.
