Shifting Perspective with Life Changes

Aaron and I talked about how he is building his life (and his new relationship! *wink wink*) in the country where he just moved! Find out the ways Aaron shifted his outlook on life, love, career, and more to help him reach this happy and content point of his life.

Where do you start?

1) Embrace impermanence.

Understand that change is a constant in life and learn to accept it as a natural part of the human experience.

2) Let go of attachments.

Recognize the importance of releasing attachments to expectations and outcomes, allowing for greater flexibility and adaptability in the face of change.

3) Reframe challenges as opportunities.

View life changes as opportunities for personal growth, learning, and the development of new skills and strengths.

Hold space for people to become the person that’s meant to be in your life.

Eventually, try to:

1) Seek new perspective.

Actively seek out diverse viewpoints and alternative ways of thinking to broaden your understanding and approach to life changes.

2) Cultivate gratitude.

Focus on the positives and express gratitude for the lessons, opportunities, and growth that come with life changes.

3) Identify limiting beliefs.

Be aware of self-limiting beliefs that may hinder your ability to embrace change, and actively work to challenge and replace them with empowering beliefs.

4) Embrace a growth mindset.

Adopt a mindset that sees challenges and setbacks as opportunities for learning and development, fostering resilience and adaptability.

5) Embrace the unknown.

Develop a comfort level with uncertainty and the unknown, allowing for greater openness and curiosity as you navigate new experiences.

Break the mold of what you think your happiness should be.
