Stepping Into Your Truest Self

How can we be confident? What can we do with our deep-seated insecurities? How can a good support system help us have better outlook in life and push us to achieve our biggest dreams?

“Fake it ‘til you make it!” as we say on this episode. I talk with one of the Miss Universe Philippines delegates, also known as Tiktok Queen, Ayn Bernos on how she was able to build the kind of self-confidence that makes her who she is right now.

First, you must know the importance of:

1) Self-discovery.

Stepping into your truest self requires a deep understanding of who you are, what you value, and what your strengths and weaknesses are. This requires intentional self-discovery, which can be a lifelong journey.

2) Vulnerability.

Being vulnerable can be scary, but it's essential for stepping into your truest self. This means being willing to share your thoughts, feelings, and experiences with others, even if it feels uncomfortable.

3) Setting Boundaries.

Setting healthy boundaries is essential for stepping into your truest self. This means saying no to things that don't align with your values or goals, and being willing to prioritize your own needs and wellbeing.

At the end of the day, peace of mind comes above everything else.

What are the next steps?

1) Talk to your mentors.

Having mentors and role models can be incredibly helpful for stepping into your truest self. They can offer guidance, support, and encouragement as you navigate your journey.

2) Take risks.

Stepping into your truest self often requires taking risks and stepping outside of your comfort zone. This can be scary, but it can also be incredibly rewarding and can lead to personal growth and transformation.

3) Be kind to yourself.

Being kind and compassionate towards yourself is essential for stepping into your truest self. This means acknowledging your mistakes and imperfections without judgment, and treating yourself with the same kindness and understanding you would offer to a friend.

4) Know your purpose.

Having a sense of purpose can be a powerful motivator for stepping into your truest self. This means having a clear idea of what you want to achieve and why, and working towards those goals with intention and focus.

5) Learn & grow everyday.

Stepping into your truest self is not a one-time event, but an ongoing process of growth and development. This means being open to learning, trying new things, and continuing to evolve and improve.

As you go through different seasons of life, remember the people you can always go back to.
